So this weekend i went to the Alaska State Fair with some friends. i figure for the last weekend of being in alaska for the summer it would be a good thing to go out with friends and go have a good time. the fair was a blast we ate food like nothing else and it was sooooo good. Gyros and onion blossoms and burgers and tacos and ice cream and especially corn fritters, who could deny any of these food groups.
this is a knitted jacket that i found at the fair that was actually knitted in nepal. i was gonna buy it but then i was rememinded ny a friendly motherly email that knitted wool does not wash very easy and i know that this orange jacket mixed with my lifestyle would get dirty quite fast. but its a good looking jacket dont you think.
this of course is me and mike vanorden at the lumberjack show. everyone was saying that i would be a good lumber jack and should enter in the contest but i dont know. what do you think carter the lumberjack.
these are the girls with their cassidy the hottest lumberjack. he also was the winner of the lumberjack show.
so thats it the fair was spectacular. we were able to ride this new ride called the apollo and it was super good i screamed the whole time. it was this ride that was like the zipper only better. i recommend it for all you fair goers out there. although mike had some balance issues afterwards. haha. well this week is my last week of work. i leave for utah on monday after work so i'll be sure to post some pictures once i get to utah.
