Jackson for Thanksgiving

This right here is the peak that overlooks pretty much any part of Jackson, WY, it is the Grande Teton.  this past week i was able to go up with my roommate Bradley, to his home in Jackson for Thanksgiving and it was a blast.  Normal holidays it seems that you jsut do a lot of relaxing and at the end of the break you wished you had more time to enjoy the family and enjoy the festivities.  But it seemed like this week that everyday was a new adventure.  we had chores that we had to do around the house like prepare some property for the winter, setup the christmas lights, and so forth.  we were able to drive all over Jackson and really enjoy our break.  Even on Thanksgiving morning Bradley and i signed up for the Turkey Trot, which is a 5K race that was put on by the rec center here.  i haven't ran for a long time but i was still able to pull it off and get a decent time for not having run for quite some time now.

Something that was really fun that his family does every year is go and hunt down the perfect christmas tree.  On Saturday we went up to there ranch and enjoyed some fresh snow as it was falling and started our hunt for the perfect christmas tree.  we found a lot of trees but they were very big or they were not full enough to be a good christmas tree.  bradley and i also decided to get our own tree for our house in provo and we decided to get one for Mallory, bradley's girlfriend.  the trees we ended up getting were beautiful trees, and best of all the tree was the best smelling tree his family said they had ever had.
I'm not ready to go back to school actually im dreading these next three weeks but this week has been a blast and i don't know if the King Family will read this but if they do i would like to thank them for a Thanksgiving week well spent in Jackson.  Thankyou!

Fun! Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! It was fun to talk to you. I'm jealous about the tree, I've always wanted to cut my own!

What's almost as good as finding the perfect Christmas tree?
Finding new, super hip music!
If you haven't heard of "The National"- I highly suggest you give them a spin.
